Bright, not blinding. Brighter than stock, but not so bright they light up the whole tailgate. A partial-reflector lens spreads the light evenly, just like the stock bulb, so it looks factory, only crisper and whiter.

Over-engineered connections. When small LEDs like these fail, it's usually the connections, not the chip. Ours use copper connections built to last the life of the bulb.
